Amarone - a top find...

by Sheena
(Stirling)

Just to let you know how welcome Amarone is!

We'd been shopping, were feeling the pressure (sore feet), and needed something to eat.

Not being from Glasgow, and wanting to be close to Queen Street Station, for getting home, we sumbled on Amarone.

What a lucky move...

The food, service and chic dining room were all exactly what we were looking for.

I love deep fried mozarella, and my shopping partner-in-crime can't see past focaccia with caramelised onion and spinach. Yumm!

Our pasta dishes and garlic bread had us full. After a strong coffee, we were more than ready to head home, more than happy with our day in Glasgow.

Cheers, Amarone. Lovin' your work!

Amarone - my thoughts
by: Robert Spalding

Amarone is one of the very best Italian restaurants in Glasgow.

It's funny how many people miss it, because it's right in the heart of things.

We like to catch up after work in Amarone, every so often. Then we can get to the cinema in less than 3 minutes.

The food is brilliant, and the service is friendly and efficient. Mix all that up with tasteful decor and subdued lighting, and you're on to a winner.

I LOVE rich sauces with seafood and pasta. Amarone does me proud, without fail.

Just so you know... you'll be served up a delicious, well prepared meal at Amarone.

A 1st date in Amarone...
by: Alistair

When I took a colleague to Amarone on our first date, I was REALLY nervous!

As it turned out, Italian is her favourite food too. Their menus are top, as well. Plenty to keep lovers of pizza, pasta and all things Italian happy.

The date went so well, we were back again soon, for a pre-theatre deal. Followed by a concert at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. It must only be a 2 minute stroll away, making Amarone the best choice for more than one reason.

In case you're curious, we're going steady now - partly thanks to the great meals in Amarone, I think!

Ciao!

Alistair
