Two Fat Mermaids at Two Fat Ladies

I used to quite like The Buttery. But it could feel a bit stuffy. It was OK for a posh celebration, but I never felt all that relaxed in it.

But now Two Fat Ladies have got their fishy hands on it - if you know what I mean - it rocks now.

The service is still as classy as before, and the food is just brilliant. And the more relaxed attitude helps this place to shine.

As a true fan, I say this is the best Scottish restaurant in Glasgow these days.

I agree about the concrete jungle thing, but the building that TFFATB is in couldn't be more different. Such a really beautiful old building, like some sort of architecture oasis in that desert!

Relaxed Style at Two Fats...

I went back recently as well. I was really pleased to see that it still looks the same as before.

And I was also happy to find out that the reviews saying it was more relaxed than before were also absolutely correct.

I'll be back before long, for sure.

Top Find - and Top Pre-Theatre

This was a great place to visit,and the food was spot on. We had a pre-theatre before going to a show at The Kings Theatre, and everything ran like clockwork.

We were amazed that such a pukka place could really be hiding is an area like that. I think the review I read on Top Secret Glasgow mentioned that it looks like the sort of concrete jungle that only the 1960s could be proud of.
