Fans from London...

by Val
(Glasgow Hillhead)

Little Italy probably doesn't know this, but it has fans in London! Strange at this sounds, whenever John and Partick visit us - normally for New Year - the thing they want to do most is visit Little Italy for a mug of amazing hot chocolate!

How sad is that? Although, when you see what goes into one of those creations, maybe you'll agree. Whipped cream, maltesers, a chocolate flake and a dusting of cocoa powder for good measure. Quite the thing, mid winter.

Don't get me wrong. They like a hefty slice of pizza at the same time! And they've booked flights for this year's hogmanay!

What are they like?

Funkiest Sannies Around...
by: Anthony

Little Italy change some of their sandwiches, on a monthly basis, I think.

So I might go in and be faced with a baguette stuffed with gorgonzola and peach - heated up and orgasmically good! lol

Or it might be roasted vegetables, sunny Italian style. I just never know, and its so much the better for that!

I ADORE Little Italy. I can really tell that its owned and run by genuine Italians.

Thanks, chaps. I appreciate it.

Best Bruschetta - On the Planet!
by: Amy

Hi folks

I used to work near Little Italy (our office moved - sigh) and a bunch of us were more or less addicted to their bruschetta.

We'd take turns, phoning round to see who was up for it, then someone would nip along the road to pick 'em up.

The amount of garlic in those juicy tomatoes, and just the right amount of olive oil. Totally drop dead gorgeous.

My mouth is watering, just thinking about it.

Keep up the good work, Little Italy.
