Mulberry Street - My Thoughts

by Stevie Williamson
(Cathcart, Glasgow)

We love eating in Mulberry Street. There's a real family atmosphere, with the husband and wife team who own the place buzzing around, making everyone welcome and making sure everyone has what they want.

And the food is very good too. Just like the service, it comes across as fresh, definately home made, and well thought out.

After the meal, we like to mosey into the lounge bar and sink into those squishy leather seats and choose from Mulberry Street's tasteful wine list.

Mulberry Street is one of the best local restaurants in the South Side.

Check it out!

Stevie

Young at Heart and Love it
by: Cate and Laurence

We adore Mulberry Street. If we have a special family occassion we can book a meal for us our three children, plus our son-in-law and our two young grandchildren, and we are made so very welcome. This is the most refreshing thing about Mulberry Street; it is not (no offence intended) a Pizza Hut or Brewers Fare yet is family friendly and highly reasonable with regards to price.
Having said all that we very often visit of a weekend afternoon just our two-selves and find it equally as relaxing and refreshing (if not more so less the brood!).It's so nice to just sit with a wee drink, and maybe a plate of bread and olives, and chill, throw off the work week and then dilly dally on home. From one trendy relaxing abode to another!(!)
What a little haven on the Southside. Well Done to you both guys!

Relaxing in Mulberry Street
by: Frances

Mulberry Street is the perfect place to visit after a walk in Queens Park.

The walk gets our appetites worked up - and Mulberry Street fills us up.

You guys are right about the family feel of the place. They buzz around, making sure everyone is happy, and we always have a hearty meal.

Good times!

I wish the South Side had more places like Mulberry Street for us to enjoy... ;)

Mulberry Street for a relaxed meal.
by: Janice

Stevie is right about the friendly, laid-back vibe in Mulberry Street.

I think the South Side should have more cool places for us to enjoy ourselves!

We always have a super meal in Mulberry Street, and service is always top rate - relaxed and friendly. The menu changes often, and usually has one or two purprises for us...

Cheery, warm and welcoming, we love Mulberry Street.
