Universal really isn't the easiest place to find, just like you said. The map on the Top Secret Glasgow website review helped me out fine, along with the reference to Waterstones!

At first glance up the lane, I couldn't see it, despite the big wertical sign. All I could see were big bins!

Once inside, it felt like being a LONG WAY from the city centre. And all those leaflets about what's up and coming in live ents were very useful.

I heard the original smily-wiley guy had sold up? Any idea if that's true? Must go back and check this old favourite out and meet the new landlord! :)

I find the owner to be just as full of information about what's going on. If you pitch up when its not too busy, he often has time for a chat if you prop the bar up.

Really nice guy, too. I wish his business well - he deserves it.
