Review - Mother India's Cafe

by Sparky Clark
(Glasgow, Partick)

Mother India's Cafe is MAGIC!

They don't take bookings, I think. And people are happy to wait for a table at peak times.

Its THAT GOOD.

Pick your time, though, and getting a table is no trouble at all. The small tapas-size options are so cool.

If you like a curry to zing your tastebuds, you've come to the right place. Mind you, coconut and creamy kormas go down well too.

Going along in a group is a good idea - share and try all sorts of new dishes... that's how I got into lamb curry. Can't see past it now.

Know what? Just thinking about Mother India's Cafe has got me in SERIOUS need of another visit... see ya!

Sparky

A Happy Find
by: Patrick

We'd been on a visit to Glasgow, to have a wander round the restored Kelvingrove Museum.

Being curry lovers, we were more than happy to spot Mother India's Cafe across the street.

Little did we know we had chanced on a local secret gem. We got a window table straight away, and got stuck into a gorgeous spicey meal...

In fact, we had such a good time, we decided to stay longer, and got a later train home!

Top stuff, Mother India's Cafe!

Cheers

Patrick

Special place
by: Frank

The food and atmosphere are both super-duper in Mother India's Cafe...

The view over to Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum is pretty special too. As are the funky framed prints of places around Glasgow on the walls.

Unique and much loved - especially by us!

Frank
