 The Butterfly and the Pig snugly waits to welcome us all, in a garden-level spot on bustling Bath Street. Like all the best laid back places in the city, the warm vibe appears without any apparent effort. Tables and chairs are all mix'n'match, with standard lamps providing the sort of like that granny used to love! Check out the witty menu, if you're after a spot of pub grub. And make sure you get there early on the nights live acts take to the wee stage - that's most Friday and Saturdays evenings at about 8pm. Afternoon tea can be found most days - ready for home made soup, sandwiches and a cake? You've come to the right place. Very popular with students and lovers of live music, this cool place has it all going on, and adds real fun times to a part of Bath Street that just keeps on getting more and more social.
