Funky North of Bondi

I used to like Baby Grand West End, but when it changed to North of Bondi you could probably hear me cheering.

I love Asian food - and holidays in Thailand and her neighbours. So sticky rice, fragrant spices and lots of lime do it for me - every time.

North of Bondi gets it just right. Hearty portions and just the right amount of juices and spices. Very pan-Asian!

And all the while, their prime spot lets diners watch bustling Dumbarton Road meet hectic'n'fun Byres Road.

Nowhere in Glasgow is quite like North of Bondi - and I LOVE it! ;-)

Authentic Asian at North of Bondi

Ever tried the North of Bondi Thai spiced sausages?

They come with chilli jam and a grilled pear! The spices in the sausage and the coolness of the pear work SO WELL!

I had that dish when I was in Thailand last year, and never thought I'd find it here in sunny Glasgow ;-) North of Bondi is as authentic as we're gonna get. Well done, guys...

I LOVE North of Bondi for the chicken sate they serve... there's something extra-special about the sticky rice that comes with it.

Peanut sauce mixed in - aaahhhh! Perfection.

North of Bondi - great stuff!

There's a cute little mezzanine level in North of Bondi. If you get a table up there, beside a window, you get a brilliant view of busy Byres Road.

There's always something cool to see - although with such a fantastic menu and HUGE portions, your attention is likely to be with your plates ;-)

Asian noodles are my fave - well done North of Bondi, filling me up and tickling my tastebuds perfectly!
