Bonnie Argyle (NOT in Scotland!) I've been bowled over by the service here. It's a real family operation and it shows. This husband, wife and sister-in-law team are fab. You might even catch a glimpse of the new baby of the family when you visit. They really can't do enough for you and will place special orders for anything unusual you might have spotted on your travels that hasn't quite made it to Glasgow yet. One style of Ginch-Gonch I had seen and loved on the manufacturer's website was only available in Australia - but Mr Smith was able to get hold of a pair for me. Amazing! (Irony here is that the style was called "Argyle" and is their Aussie take on our oh-so-Scots classic "Argyle pattern". Imagine not releasing this in Bonnie Scotland! Tsk Tsk. Alistair and Gillian are about the friendliest folk I know in Glasgow's West End family-run shops. So many of my friends and family have raved about their sparkling service and that's what keeps them coming back again and again. That - and the great choice of course!
