A Cure for the WORST EVER hangovers!

by Robert Myles
(Hillhead, Glasgow)

Mates were up from London a while back. They really fancied a curry, but we all had slight hangovers ;-)

OK, I'll spill... We had RAGING hangovers after night on the tiles!

We all agreed a curry would help us back to life again. But we needed somewhere quiet and tasteful.

The Wee Curry Shop West End did the trick perfectly! Small and intimate, the sorta tapas style curry is delicious. In fact, I have to admit that we recovered well enough to head over to The Chip for one after our dinner. But just the one. Honest, guv!

The boys are counting the days until they come back to Glasgow! Bless them...

Robert.

Dad now Likes a good curry...
by: Chris J

I decided to take my Dad to The Wee Curry Shop in Ashton Lane, to get him started on curry.

He'd never tried it before, and was sure "I won't like that spicy stuff." But I had other ideas...

The Wee Curry Shop serves up dishes a bit like tapas. I chose lots of mild ones, and plain naan bread and boiled rice.

Some tasty lamb and juicy chicken in creamy sauces found him tucking in. The waites gave him good advice, without talking down to Dad in any way.

Dad is now partial to a curry! Hurray! Still likes them mild - but that's OK with me!

Thanks, Wee Curry Shop, for helping my old man see the light...

Chris

A perfect wee place
by: Hamish

lol There's something wild about rating a curry house according to how well it can cure your hangovers, Robert!

Know what you mean about the top curry served in the Wee Curry Shop in Ashton Lane.

We love it too. Those portions are just asking to be shared, aren't they?

I can remember a few evenings when I ended up with a hangover actually STARTING here.

We like the friendly, quite informal service. It adds to the feeling of being in someone's living room.

A special place indeed.

See ya

Hamish
