Best Lunch in Glasgow? - Yes!

by Margaret Hughes
(Glasgow Milngavie)

Is it worth the treck out here, or what? DEFINATELY! The food is unique, and the bright white dining space exudes calm and poise.

Take note, though...

1. It's popular, so book in advance. I'd hate you to be disappointed.
2. Its lunch only. What a shame there are no quality romantic dinners on offer.

Still keeping us keen for more is a philosophy that seems to be working for Art Lovers Cafe.

Charles Rennie Mackintosh is no secret, but I think the posh nosh served here just might be a small local secret worth checking out.

Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Margaret

Memorable day out...
by: Frances Beattie

We found Art Lovers Cafe kinda by accident. We'd been round the house itself (magnificent) and when we walked onto the blacony of the main drawing room, we heard quiet chatting.

Looking over, we saw a rather nice paved terrace with people enjoying the sun and what looked like good food.

So we went for a seat too, and stayed for lunch.

Delicious!

Then we walked past the cars park and enjoyed watching kiddies having a lesson on the dry ski slope.

A memorable day out, for sure.

Secret local lunch...
by: MIchelle

The chicken liver pate I've had in Art Lover's Cafe is the best - ever!

I took my Granny & Gramps to see the House, and we had a relaxed lunch. I'm glad I called to book in advance, it was so busy.

Not just with tourists, either. It was interesting to see quite a few local suits enjoying a business lunch.

Bit of a local secret cafe, this one. And the food is WAY BETTER than an ordinary cafe. Well worth the trip out to the Park.
