I love spicey food, and was slightly surprised to find the chillies so strong that my eyes were watering! Just a little! ;-) It made for an interesting meal! Staff are so friendly, and were happy answering our questions, The menu is pretty different from other Asian types, and all the better for that. Been back a few times, and LOVE it. It's great to see so many Korean nationals visiting too. I think that says a LOT about the quality of the food Kokuryo serves up. Well done. It makes me trust that I'm trying the 'real deal', which is good. Sure, there are lots of REALLY hot and spicey dishes, but not all of their delicacies will over-heat the novice! Harry x Rating Hot stuff - from a cool place! by: Tommy We'd been for a walk in Kelvingrove Park, and my mate suggested Kokuryo for lunch. I'd never heard of the place, but he assured me it was a cool place to eat. and it was close... How right he was! I needed a couple of beers to wash down some of those delicious spices - my choices were HOT! ;-) I've been back since then, and I love it. Sitting in the window is nice, watching the world trot by.
