Filling up the Kids at Trattoria Trevi!

by Bobby Devlin
(Helensburgh)

We had a lovely day in Glasgow recently - visiting our daughter and her rowdy bunch of a family!

We went for a walk round Kelvingrove Park, to tire the kids out. And then of course they got hungry.

What to do?

A short walk along Bank Street took us to the one and only Trattoria Trevi. We love Italian, and the kids like pizza and messy old spaghetti - so we were on to a winner!

Staff wisely looked after the wee ones first, and soon we were all settled down, rolling our sleeves up for a full-on meal.

I can't say 'No' to a salad of mozzarella and tomato - the more garlic the better! Trattoria Trevi's is as good as it gets. The veal in breadcrumbs melted in the mouth...

And there were no complaints from the kids. We ordered one pizza and one pasta dish for them to share, and it was PLENTY, believe me.

Trattoria Trevi is a small Italian place that's easy to miss on busy Great Western Road - but worth making the effort to find.

We all LOVE it.

Ciao!

Bobby D

Loving Trattoria Trevi
by: Mary

Just like Bobby, we'd been walking in Kelvingrove Park. We'd had a look at the Museum and Art Gallery, and were in serious need of re-filling our tanks...

Where better than Trattoria Trevi? Nowhere else would do!

I think we all had big bowls of pasta and shared a couple of garlic breads. All washed down with bottles of Peroni... there's nothing better.

Laid back service adds to the relaxing experience.

Lovin' Trattoria Trevi - and I don't think too many people know about this gem.

Cute Wee Trattoria Trevi
by: Sally

I've loved Trattoria Trevi for years now.

Light and breezy in summer, it also manages to be cosy and snug in winter.

Loving Italy as much as me, and their AMAZING food, I really feel that these guys know what they're doing. It all feels so truly Italian.

Tasty, sophisticated and hearty.

Well done, Trattoria Trevi. I love your work!
