Watching the world go by...

by Joe
(Glasgow Merchant City)

My friends and I are BIG fans of people watching - in the nicest possible way!

So we love airports and railway stations... And we love Tron Bar. That glass wall looking onto the street is great for perching on a stool.

But best of all is seeing the happiness and excitement on performance nights. We usually stand near the bar, at the far end from the entrance to the main restaurant, and watch the fun unfold!

Panto time has to be best fun! Adults as high as the kids is a heartening thing to watch.

Having said that, sometimes a quiet drink (with a superior snack) in the bar on a peaceful night can be just as much fun. On these nights we'll actually do some catching up.

Hey... looking at ourselvs rather than others is allowed too!

C U in Tron Bar!

Are You Watching Me? ;-)
by: Alice

I doubt you guys are even out of bed by the time a wander into Tron Bar for a coffee and a scone!

After a spot of shooing, I can always find a seat. So much light floods in, I usually do my newspaper sudoku, then head on home for lunch.

Many thanks, Tron Bar.

Propping up the bar...
by: Jason

Know what you mean about Tron Bar.

It has its own energy. Part of it comes from the guests on performance nights, and I think part comes from the location on a busy part of Argyle Street near High Street. You can almost smell the history!

And yes, I know what you mean about people watching. There is something that warms the heart, seeing peeps have a good time.

Keep on propping up Tron Bar!
