for a meal and drinks in a hidden local legend before or after some townhouse snoozing here is...
and we love it because it has been keeping locals in the know fed and watered, and also entertained since the 1980s. And it just might be true that the French toast with bacon and maple syrup served here is the best hangover cure known to man. Honest.
[A 2 minute stroll will take you here. Turn left when leaving the hotel, and left again into Elmbank Crescent. Just after the entrance to the car park, turn right, pass the entrance to the low-level train station on the right, and just up the stairs on the left you'll come face to face with this lovely hidden gem.]

It's... how such a thriving little hotel can be so well hidden, yet still be close to so many city attractions. And the motorway is so close, all links to and from Glasgow are within easy reach. Perfect.

and we love it because its a lively little place full of shining bourbon bottles, lush Chesterfield leather booths and food that raises the 'pub grub' bar really high. Great fun - you'll love it here...;-)
[Less then 5 minutes away on foot, all you have to do is turn left when leaving the hotel. At Bath Street turn left, and once over the M8 motorway, turn right. If you reach Sauchiehall Street you've gone too far! Easy to miss, this lively place is well worth tracking down.]
