and we love it because it bursts with character and laid back charm, just like Guy's. Warm and cosy inside, with a very chatty owner, Babbity Bowster also boasts a really cool beer garden to enjoy.
[Walk up to Wilson Street, turn right on Wilson Street and then left onto Blackfriars Street. At the end of the block, turn right onto the small pedestrian block and you'll find your goal on the left.]
... so do you want to know what's keeping those 'in-the-know' folks talking about Guy's?
It's... how weird and wonderful is the decor in here? Part pastel kitsch, part sleek seducer and part odd, with a half-dressed skeleton welcoming guests.
But we love Guy's really, and (as we all have at least one skeleton in our family) we firmly believe that this odd greeter is actually quite friendly!

and we love it because it's hard to beat here for energy and fun, especially on nights when there is a show on.
Perch in the window seats or at the bar and watch the excited theatre goers arrive. The happy tension builds until the 'please take your seats' voice comes over the speakers. Great fun.
[Coming out of Guy's, turn left and walk along Candleriggs until you come to Trongate. Now just pop across the road and walk a single block to the left, passing under the grand clock tower of the main theatre entrance and turning right down Chisholm Street.
