and we love it because is has become a major social hub in the West End, and is as loved by locals as much as Killermont Polo Club.
Sit inside and admire the restored stained glass windows (and the wide range of whisky on display), or take a table outside and watch folks coming and going from the botanic gardens across the road.
[A taxi is the best idea, from Killlermont Polo Club. Driving is pretty easy though. Turn left out of Killermont Polo Club and drive a couple of miles along Maryhill Road to Queen Margaret Drive.
Turn right here, and less than a mile down the slope you'll come to Great Western Road. That's Oran Mor over on the right. There's a car park off Great George Street, so head down Byres Road and turn left at that street.
You can walk back in just a minute or two.]

and we love it because this is a beautiful old church, these days home to a theatre, restaurant, bar and beer garden. And all in its own leafy West End nook.
So you have the choice of sitting outside in the sun, chatting by the real fire inside when its cooler and maybe listening to some live music while you're at it.
[From Killermont Polo Club, the easiest way is to take a taxi to Cottiers. If you're driving, turn left onto Maryhill Road, and drive for a couple of miles until a right turn into Queen Margaret Drive.
Cross Great Western Road and go along Byres Road until the traffic lights at University Avenue. Turn right here and travel up Highburgh Road.
After three blocks you'll see the Cottier's steeple through the trees on the left. Have fun.]
