and we love it because its a true Glasgow institution, hidden from view behind King's Theatre, and glowing golden each evening. Can it really have been treating those in the know for more than 25 years now?
[From King's Theatre, all you have to do is walk a short distance along Bath Street towards the M8. At the short flight of concrete steps on the left, turn in here. baby Grand Charing Cross is round the first corner on the right.]

It's... how this gorgeous theatre manages to take on board even the biggest of London's touring shows, without seeming to struggle for scale and volume. Such easy-going style must have taken decades to develop...;-)

and we love it because it site right beside the M8, but you'd never guess it has a cute west-facing beer garden, and deep leather-clad booths for diners to have a good old natter... Bliss!
[Black Sparrow is easy to find, from King's Theatre. Walk over the M8 and turn immediate right. Black Sparrow is on this block, just before your reach Sauchiehall Street. Look carefully, because there isn't a big logo to spot...]
