why should you go?...

Nanakusa gives very little away, looking from the pavement on busy Sauchiehall Street. But step inside and you'll be met by sunny smiles and an elegant dining room.

The best tempura, noodle soups and sushi in the city are to be found right here. In fact, rumour has it that Nanakusa delayed its opening to allow for just the right specialist chefs to be in place.

Bento boxes come stuffed with teriyaki that is both juicy and sticky. The batter on the tender king prawns will literally melt in the mouth.

Quality Asian food is well delivered in Glasgow, with Nanakusa the far and away best Japanese restaurant in town.
