Pavilion TheatrePleases Audiences with a Wild Mix of Quality Variety Talents
 Pavilion Theatre opened its doors on the last day of February 1904. A palace of variety since then, it has gained a place in the hearts of locals - and with very good reason, too...;-) Described as "pure Louis XV" by its owners, without doubt The Pavilion remains one of the most ornate buildings in Glasgow city centre. Today, The Pavilion boasts fame for annual pantomimes that bring in the crowds ready for a giggle, and featuring many famous local lads and lasses. But so much more than panto takes place in The Pavilion. Family friendly acts like Brotherhood of Man, The Best of the Eagles and Chicago Blues Brothers take to the stage here. In addition, plenty of comedians tread the boards at The Pavilion. Names you may recognise are Ken Dodd, Julian Clary, local goddess Dorothy Paul, Freddie Starr and Ricky Tomlinson - all Pavilion regulars. With such amazing variety on show for those in Glasgow, no wonder The Pavilion remains a firm local favourite.
