Queens Cross Church
Top Secret File
Codename "charliechaplin"

Hey! Of all the sites in all the world, glad you walked into ours.
Psst!... our VERY-close-second favourite place...
for a drink in honour of Mr Mackintosh before or after admiring his work here is...
and we love it because a day visiting more than one lovely church is a great idea. And at Cottier's Bar you can sit outside in good weather.
Then you can stay for a meal, or listen to live music in the bar some evenings, or attend an event in the theatre.
[Walk down to Byres Road, and carry on as far as University Avenue. Turn right into Highburgh Road, and Cottier's is the church on the left after four very short blocks.]
... so do you want to know what's keeping those 'in-the-know' folks talking about Queens Cross Church?
It's... the really cool shop at the back of the church.
Pick up books on Mackintosh, as well as bookmarks and other items about Glaswegian buildings and history of architecture.
Great stuff for fans of Queens Cross Church and the like.
Enjoy!
