[You can stroll to this top restaurant in 15 minutes. Head down the slope to Sauchiehall Street and turn right. Just keep walking into the West End, crossing the M8 motorway en route. Admire the lovely buildings along the street. When you reach a bend in the road, slightly to the right, you're at Kelvingrove Street. Turn right here, and your destination is up the 1st set of external steps on the right. ]

and we love it because its so cosy and tasteful - in more ways than one! Scottish game and fish are served with attention to detail and great finesse. Small wonder this place has been a Merchant City shining light since the 1980s.
[You can stroll to this top restaurant in 15 minutes. Head down the slope to Sauchiehall Street and turn left. Walk to the end of the street, where it meets Buchanan Street. Turn right here, and when you reach West George Street turn left. At George Square, walk diagonally across the square to Cochrane Street. Turn right at the end of this street, then left into Ingram Street. An immediate right will take you into Candleriggs, with your restaurant on the right. Well done for finding a true Merchant City classic.]
