Psst!... our VERY-close-second favourite place...
to have a drink before or after tucking into The Sister's fab food here is...
and we love it because you can get there by walking through Kelvingrove Park, and getting this close without trying it out for size would be a real shame.
And because the ten minute stroll will bring you to one of the most cool and hip places for a drink in the West End.
[Turn right and walk along Kelvingrove Street to the Park. Then follow the path that leads slightly to the left. Keeping first the pond then the River Kelvin to the left, the path will bring you to Gibson Street. Turn left and Left Bank is near the end of the first block.
If it's dark the park will be locked. All you have to do is head along Sauchiehall Street to Kelvin Way, and turn right. Then turn right onto Gibson Street and Left Bank is down the slope on the right. Have fun!]

A lovely little bar-diner, it really does like to hide away, and will surprise with its range of bourbons, and its perfect two-level beer garden, just yards from the M8.
[Walk along Sauchiehall Street towards the city centre. After ten minutes you'll come to Charing Cross and the M8. Stay on the right, and turn right just before the motorway, and Chinaski's is just there, on the right.]
